I will chose, today, whom I will serve!

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness… therefore God gives them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with each other. Because of this, God gives them over to shameful lusts. Even women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, men abandon natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for each other. Men commit shameful acts with other men, and receive in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Just as they do not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, God gives them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what should not to be done. They become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity… they invent ways of doing evil… Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

You have no excuse, you who do the same things. We know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those, who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good.

Do I chose God? Do I chose sacrifice? Do I chose purity, holiness, and life?

Father, you discipline the sons and daughters you delights in. Discipline is a sign of that love and delight. Therefore, I chose life, holiness, and integrity, no matter the cost. Even if I lose everything, because there will be life.

“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31

And that is what some of you were! But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11

““I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.” 1 Corinthians 6:12

Whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17

You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:20

Blessed are those who truly mourn over sin and grieve deeply for their wickedness. Matthew 5:4

He esteems those who are humble and live in contrition and remorse over sin, and tremble at His word. Isaiah 66:2

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. They will be filled! And the pure in heart, for they will see You! Matthew 5:6

Do I chose self? Do I chose entertainment? Do I chose sin, destruction, and death?

I know something is wrong when sin loses its sting and the conviction is gone. This means that the battle has been lost and that the stubbornness and hardness of my heart has silenced the convicting pull of your voice.

Each time I resist you, my heart becomes harder.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Lord, teach me to hate my sin.

The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body?

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
